St. Mark's Mini-School

Welcome to the joys of learning at St. mark's Mini School, a place where young children individually and as a group begin their quest for knowledge about themselves, others and the world in which they live.
The Program
The program at Mini School is flexible, but follows a pattern which gives children a feeling of security and sequence. In a warm, supportive environment, children are given many opportunities for learning through "doing" and through play. There is time each day for a free choice of activities, both indoors and outdoors, group experiences with music and stories, snack time, and a short rest.
Many opportunities are provided for children to experience "successes", both mentally and physically, in order to inspire confidence and the enjoyment of learning. The development of social skills is also stressed both to promote self-identity and self-worth and to teach respect for the rights of others.
Registration
A $100 non-refundable registration fee for the first child and a $50 non-refundable registration fee for each additional child or for any additional sessions is due at the time of registration. The $100 fee includes s $50 tuition rebate, which occurs in May.
This rebate will be applied to your child's May tuition provided that you participate in at least three activities or projects that benefit Mini School. Examples of these activities include parents' workday, Art Fair, driving for field trips, fund raising activities, special events and projects.

Additional Sessions
Monday School
Parents may register for Monday School when registering their child for Mini School by paying a $15 non-refundable Monday deposit along with the deposit for the Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday session.
Extended Day
Parents can enroll their child in the extended day program which runs from 7:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. The non-refundable registration fee is $25. Tuition is $5 for the morning and $7.50 for the afternoon and $10 for both , if used in the same day.
